Moscow is a sports capital of Russia. In Moscow in particular the sports complexes and constructions of Russia wide and global importance are located. Moscow offers ample opportunities to go in for any kinds of sports, high-risk sports and sports hobbies.

There are many athletic clubs in the capital, numerous auto and motorcycle clubs, you can also go to a flying club and fulfill your heart’s desire and get high in the sky above the city, you can also try fields in the Moscow golf clubs, drive light vehicles in karting clubs, and “play war games” in paintball clubs.

Multifunctional sports clubs and modern spacious swimming pools are at your disposal, as well as rollerdromes for those who like rollerblading or skateboarding, and ice skating rinks are always open for skating fans in the capital. Great tennis courts and competitive shooting in shooting ranges are waiting for you. You can ply the waters of the Moscow water reservoirs on a yacht which you can rent in the yacht club.

Considerable number of sporting events is conducted in Moscow – both Russian and international. Thus in 2010 the capital of Russia hosted the largest international tournaments, such as a final stage of the European Rugby-7 championship, European boxing championship, World Rhythmic Sportive Gymnastics Championship, FINA/ARENA-2010 swimming World Cup stage, “A. Ya. Gomelsky Cup” international basketball tournament, speed skating junior World championship, the 30th bandy World championship, and also a number of other large tournaments.

Besides sports tournaments, exhibitions and events devoted to sports sparked a big interest: the International “SPORTS” exhibition, “Innovative technologies for sports facilities equipment” International Forum, “Moto Park 2010” Moscow International Exhibition; “Fitness-Moscow. Sports and style-2010” Exhibition festival; “MIOFF 2010” Moscow International Fitness and Wellness Festival; “Boats and Yachts/MIBS 2010” international Moscow exhibition.

If you would like to buy a ticket to a sport event you can do it in the booking office of a sport facility, through specialized web-sites and also through the official web-site of the Russia 2  (Russian TV Channel) by phone , through partner companies , or make the order online .

In order to book a ticket online you must register on the website, select the event, and press the button “Zakazat” (order). Then select the section and the seat, and then select the way how to receive the tickets (by courier, in the booking offices or by printing the blank of e-ticket). When you confirm your selections you’ll receive a confirmation letter which have to be printed and preserved.

You can make the payment in cash  or by electronic payment .
